THIS IS FOR HORSES SOLD, NOT THE FOAL CROP
Everlast Contract
1. Pages
When I sell you a horse, you have 1 week to provide me a page link. This does not mean copying exactly what I have, either. It doesn’t have to be fancy and all done up immediately, so long as it is not a direct copy of my page, and includes all important info; ie, heritage, foals, show record, etc. If you cannot do this, please talk to me. So long as I know you are alive and are just busy, its ok. This is just to make sure that my horses (and their shows and foals) just don’t disappear into thin air.
2. Buybacks
Any horse sold from Everlast does not have buybacks unless specified. If the horse does have buybacks or first rights, then the stable URL or my email address (GallopingStyx@aol.com) must be listed on the horses page.
If the horse has buybacks, I will check on the page every now and then. If the horse has had no updates for a long time, I will contact you. If I don’t get in touch with you within 1 week, the horse will be reclaimed. I will not reclaim a horse because I think “its not happy”. It will be for not showing, no activity, etc. If you need to put a horse on pause for a while, just tell me, so I know that the horse will not have activity and therefore will not be reclaimed.
3. Ageing
You may age any way you wish. The horses of Everlast are aged 1 year every 3 months for the adults, 1 year every month for the foals. You can follow this system if you want. The only requirement is that the foal (or horse) does not get older than his parents.
4. Breeding and Gelding-
Stallions may start breeding at age 3, Mares at age 4. Mares can have up to 2 foals per year - one of their own and one from a surrogate. I don’t really like surrogates, but you are allowed. There is no limit on how many foals a horse can have (unless at sale I say so) - but don’t go crazy. I know that in real life, a stallion can have hundreds of foals. But seriously, this is SIM, not real life. The same goes for mares.
As for Gelding, please contact me first. I usually don't mind, I just may request a breeding to the horse before it is no longer available, or just in general, I would like to know.
5. Names
Any horse sold with our prefix or suffix of EL must not be changed. Names may be changed upon request - but you must talk to me first.
Any foals you breed using my stallion are not required to have EL in the name. Any foals you breeding using my mare is required.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
THIS IS FOR THE FOAL CROP
This goes for EVERY foal sold.
1. Ageing is limitless. The only rule is that the foals age must NEVER exceed either of his/her parents ages.
2. No under saddle showing until age 3 minimal.
3. Stallions can breed after age 3, mares after age 4.
4. Foals are sold without buybacks unless otherwise mentioned, however I reserve the right to reclaim a foal if I see it is being neglected. I will not reclaim a horse because I think "its not happy". I will only reclaim for legitimate reasons, such as inactivity.
5. I must always have a current link to the foal, EVEN IF THE HORSE DOES NOT HAVE BUYBACKS
6. When you buy the foal, you have 1 week to get me a URL.
